FREE Internet Poetry Lessons with Poet Reid Baer “NewWarriorMan”

I am willing to tutor FREE the 1st five talented people to contact me who would like to learn how to write and perform poetry for the Internet.

Google: Reid Baer aka “NewWarriorMan” to see what I’ve written, including 2,000,000 views of poetry performed on YouTube (that account was deleted), a poem the editors FEATURED on YouTube, hundreds of poems on other Internet sites, a book of poems from Monarch Publishing entitled “The Man from Four Quarters” available at Amazon, plus I’m an interviewer, and reviewer.

My background is as a playwright, a newspaper reporter, a novelist, and the most prominent poet on the Internet.

Howdy Doody Time!

When I was very young
smiling wasn’t for fun.
It was a visual aid.
A family secret and
a pathetic charade.
In private we fought like
demons and suffered like
the damned but in public
a silly grin was a
passing parade, but hey,
don’t tell anybody
what you’re really feeling:
sad – or mad – or scared. Just
act foolishly glad be-
cause you don’t want that home
grown cavalcade of hurt
raining down on you for
telling the truth and so
even today I must
say I may put on this
mask - put my emotions
away even if the
cosmos comes crumbling down
around me – I’ll tell you
everything is swell … but
hell! there’s a price to pay
for one big A-Okay!
