The only way to tell the sex is to have a blood or feather test done. I have had it done. We call "him" a boy, but we really have no idea. Of course, if he ever lays an egg....lol.

Male or female? You can't see it by this species since both genders have the same plumage.
Those birds are sensitive to cold air drafts

They call them dwarf parrots if I remember right.
My mother had on in the 70's
