Evil Ceremonies

I recieved an email today that frankly left me almost at a loss for words.

The video, attached, is disturbing on it's own but the most disturbing fact of all is where it is filmed.

Our Western Society seems to be committing some form of cultural suicide by allowing tolerance of certain religious groups to go too far. Tolerance is a good thing. But like ALL things there should be and MUST BE limits to our tolerance allowing for some degree of educated discrimination.

I'm appalled.

Further I fear we're hurtling toward a most awful of wars in order to put things back to where they should be for human advancement.

Been done BY TONS of various christian (mostly catholic however, actually) offshoots AS WELL, not just "Muslims". But this particular "ritual" one is a "commemoration and a mourning rite" or I guess you could call it a pseudo reenactment blah blah of a group of people (following some battle, I think, I don't want to write a book here so.. do your own research) from their faith that were basically tortured and killed. They do it every year... and it's LOOKS a lot worse then it is.... ever get a cut on the scalp? Bleeds like nothing else! - If you really wanna see some weird stuff, check out Pentecostals "playing catch" with rattlesnakes to "prove their faith" and power over Satan i.e. "the serpent" being representative of that (my personal favorite part of that is when one gets struck in the face and everything that comes with a neurotoxin :) ... of course.. "due to his lack in faith". Not the tossing of the rattlesnake to brother so and so). OR, you could get into some of the southwestern united states catholic Spanish populations... beating themselves with cacti... (no really... they beat themselves and each other.. and use them for sandals.. the whole bit.. cactus whips, all this extraordinarily masochistic behavior.) And so there is my two cents from your unassuming closet theologian, yours truly. :) Enjoy... and people wonder how these jackasses can strap dynamite to their chests... Nevermind... TL:DR ... this stuff gets me started... lol!
