First Day On The Internet

The first time I ever used the Internet was in high school, year 7 to be exact (the 7th grade for my American Friends) it was in the school library. I walked right up to the front desk and asked If I could use this device called the Internet.

So the fat-ass librarian took down my name and put me on the list, she then asked me "What will you be using the Internet for? just surfing? So being the very first time ever using the Internet I had no idea surfing was just browsing.

I thought she ask asking if I was going to be looking at surfing as in, the thing you do I water. So when I told her No, I will be looking at video games and video game sites etc the fat bitch had the nerve to laugh at me and say NO YOU STUPID FUCK SURFING MEANS JUST BROWSING GOD DAMN IT YOU'RE A DUMB-ASS, I HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE KIDS.

O.K so maybe that last part was over-exaggerated but yes the first time I used to Internet was in high school. So what about you, I'd love to hear about the first time you used this magic porn storage device called the Internet

Comment by twister7boy on October 23, 2010 at 7:56am: first time i got on was for reading blogs because videos from everyday people were rare back then. just news or sports. but to reply to a blog post you had to get the same file codes or you were out of luck. wasn't much then at those times. gaming was the most people did. buying your favorite teams stuff. hell i was 6 or 7 when i first got on. worst thing was taking your pc 10 minutes to just boot up. what a nightmare. best thing was the games. the worst programing ever came from microsoft man have they made thing much easier these days. i don't have to read a 1500 page manual anymore thank god for that. does anyone remember when organ trail was the hottest game around?

Comment by Seanie on October 21, 2010 at 8:32am: When I first got the Internets it was dial-up using a 14k bps modem on the Microsoft Network, the local access phone number was 2p per minute so dialing up cost £1.20 per hour (About $2.00 USD) Porn was delivered in image format only and it downloaded a line of pixels at a time, it could take 2 minutes for a nice high res picture of a naked woman to appear, you'd have time to savour and appreciate her hair, then her eyes, cheek-bones, lips, chin, shoulders etc before you got to the porny bits

My phone bill was about £300 a month LOL
