I want to bring up something that has plagued this site in the last month. Far be it for me to judge anyone by any means. But I am getting fed up with the topics being thrown around on this site. I now want to exercise my right to freedom of speech. I do not expect anyone to take it as anything different than just that.

I would start by saying this. At what point did this site lose touch with what this site was designed to be at least from my stand point. I understand that it has a diverse population of members. I also understand that with that is going to come arguments and disagreements. But I will not be a part of a site that is based on trash talking and insulting other fellow Americans.

My point is this, all members have a right to free speech sure. But that right must first be understood to be properly used. I don't believe that a large part of the members here truly understand the line between your right to free speech and slander. I will not go into naming names or even pointing fingers because I will not be a part of it. I have noticed several infringements pointed towards several different members.

I am sincerely considering taking my part of this site else were. Because I will not promote this sort of activity. This type of trash is for teenagers and giving the site as a whole a bad name. Let me try and do everyone a favor here and enlighten everyone who truly cares a favor. I will take this time and space to do my fellow American's a favor and give you all a clear and descriptive interpretation of the difference. A clear and legal description so in the future this is not an issue.

I will start this with the your right to free speech as described by the constitution. Your first amendment goes exactly like this as I am a strong supporter of this document. This is the first amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Now let me enlighten you to it's true purpose as well as the rest of the bill of rights. This amendment does not support or give you any right at all. In fact nor does the rest of the Constitution. The great Constitution was in fact written with one purpose in mind to grant privileges to the government. In order to provide boundaries to the scope of governing the people. So for all you that try to hide behind your constitutional rights you are only proving your ignorance to it. If you cannot read and understand what it's true meaning is. Then let me point out the first 5 word's to you.

So then you may ask were does your right to free speech come from. It comes from your creator. You were born with it. The Constitution was written to protect your god given right's. OK now with that in mind lets go into the other end of this subject a bit. I will start by defining Slander straight out of a law dictionary. It reads like this.

SLANDER - A false defamation (expressed in spoken words, signs, or gestures) which injures the character or reputation of the person defamed; distinguished from libel. Here it is proposed to treat of verbal slander only, which may be considered with reference to, 1st. The nature of the accusation. 2d. The falsity of the charge. 3d. The mode of publication. 4th. The occasion; and 5th. The malice or motive of the slander.

This is only the first paragraph of the legal description of 2 pages I have provided a link for you to read and understand it as a whole. I encourage you all to read and understand the difference between free speech and slander.

Now in a attempt to help you fully understand my point. The fact that it is false is only a part of the true description. Even if a statement is true to some point it still falls under the definition here because the majority I have notice here lately were not to just bring up the topic of someones wrong doing but to deface them in doing so thus it is indeed slander.

I want to point out that a big percentage of the blog's and video's I have watched and read here have been in fact directed to do just this. When you take a good look at the point and motive behind them you indeed see just that. The public defacement of another member. The fact that they are pointing at singled out individuals in attempts to credit themselves and deface another indeed makes them slanderous and indeed punishable in a court of law. I am not an attorney by any means nor do I have any intention of going any farther than simply stating my opinion then packing up my belongings and moving so to speak.

I do know the difference and do stay well within my right to use it. I will not be a part of a site that promotes the freedom of speech and does not truly even understand it. I do not expect anyone to really care one way or the other in truth. But I will be removing my content out of here over the next few day's if this does not stop.
