Mitsos... I don't know or I can't speak about the rest of the people here but to me, this is not about insulting or anything like that, it's just the fact that if you mix the images with the music the result is funny. I have no problems with any kind of religion, skin colour, culture... Well, it's way better for me if I explain this on a private message, but no way, no intention to make any damage.

Not me. I am a Greek. They were part of our empire under Alexander the Great.
Ecstasy is OK. I have seen much worse the rhythmic chanting.
No problems with Kurds either.
Your fear is what you project on those people. To me they seam to have a good time.
They don't chant death to America neither do they want to bomb democracy in to Iraq.

They look like Kurds to me. Probably some religious ritual in combination of rhythmic clapping the hands and moving the body.
Similar to a ravers club or techno club with the difference that those don't have the religious context. Trance predates the modern religions and was incorporated from very old and ancient natural religions in to the modern ones.
I took with out knowing the same route as the Eleusinian Mysteries. Starting with the sacred cafe and getting the holy water given by an inconspicuous woman. Then traveling down the holy road and reaching the sacred well of the goddess Demeter where I was offered water again from the well from a shepherd. I didn't know then that this was the route toke by those intoxicated by ergot of the hallucinogenic kykeon thousands of years back. I was to find out 20 years later.
