Argent, since I have known you, there has never been a time you ever called me " Mah NIgga" and if you did, "I personally would look at the context of which you said it" You know damn well whether there is a technical vs literal difference between Nigga and Nigger, and you damn sure know the difference when it comes to context.

The word nigger is a terrible word, it is dis empowering, especially depending on who hears you say that and in what context, like say a young child that over hears you use that word. This is not a discussion over whether Nigga is better than the word Nigger, it is context.

And again if it is offensive to YOU then don't use that word, I can say Nigger,Nigger,Nigger also, but the reason I DON'T is because I CHOOSE NOT TO, just like you choose to use it, the same as with this video, of some woman going on and on about some Nigga on the YouTubes.

The only reason I clicked, then watched that bullshit is because you brought it up.

Doesn't change the fact Nigger and Nigga are deeply offensive words one wouldn't use in polite conversation, nor does it change the fact in a business setting you can and should be fired in a heart beat for saying that kind of bullshit.

The word is bad, NOBODY should use it, just like people should't smoke, people shouldn't swear in front of children, the fact some people DO IT not withstanding, 

If you don't like a word don't participate in it's usage, don't buy any music, or visit a comedy show and for god sake's don't click on anymore fucking YOUTUBE videos, especially the ones that are Titled, "Let me tell you what this Nigga did"

Can't stop them anymore than I can stop you, and depending on your circle, I am sure like say I dunno some bars in the south you might get a medal or pat on the back.

Oh please, since when can't I call you mah nigga? What changed? The fact that there is very much a double standard around the use of the word is simply a fact, you can try to deny it but it won't change the fact that the double standard exists. We're not discussing other double standards right now, we're discussing this one. If you want to bring up other ones in another blog, feel free, we'll discuss it there. But right now we're discussing this particular double standard. Either the word is bad and nobody should use it or it isn't bad and everyone should be allowed to use it. The color of your skin should not dictate whether or not you can use specific words. Again I was clear about the fact that I would have no problem with the word being considered bad so long as nobody was free to use it but it would have to be a universal thing. No more of this bullshit about "Nigga" not being the same word (it is) or how it's okay for black folks to use it because they're "disempowering it", because if that's the case it's okay for everyone to use it since it's been disempowered across the board. But the fact is, the current use of the word is a double standard. It offends many white people to hear it being used every 5 words by black people, it is a case of using the word as a slap in the face, saying "See, we can use this word now and you can't because you're a lowly whitey! So fuck you!" Bullshit on that crap. Either we can all use it or we all can't use it. If you feel it's a bad word, then you should feel as offended by its use in every day conversation and most notably in rap music as I am but you seem to be defending the word while at the same time saying it's bad. Which is it?

Again, I am NOT talking about the use of the word in, as you call it "some social circles" or in the privacy of their homes or shit like that. I'm talking about the broad, daily use of it in the media and in public in huge excess. I hear the word at least 200 times a day, I can't get the fuck away from it and it annoys the heck out of me.

You have used nigga and nigger now a few times, and if your premise is you are going to keep on using it then by all means, it is a free country.

But you are clearly misidentifying A problem, as your problem, which is also your right, but seems pretty silly, what other people say or do shouldn't be of any significant's unless it applies to your life, and the word nigga or nigger in every and all other context doesn't suddenly become excusable or defensible either. 

At the very least people who use that word do so because they couldn't care any less for how their language is perceived when it is specifically directed at someone else, and the most it is a social norm in some circles that not every all people subscribe to regardless of race.

As to your double standards, if you really want to get into this White vs Black double standard, I am afraid you would be short by a mile, there  are a great many double standards that follow the white community that are not extended to any other race also.

But I get a sense you are trolling, rather than being serious so, I won't go any further. Again what some people use as a form of expression or whatever in their own private homes among those specifically involved is one thing, but trying to suggest that because it is used even in that set of circumstance or any other that it is OK language to be using is again a task you can take up, Have fun with that!

But if you come near or around me speaking that way, I am not going to want to have any association with you, nor am I going to hang around and listen to it whilst you knock yourself out LOL!

If it was just in a single video and only in that no, I'd say that person was ignorant, did you not read where I said it's done in any movie where black people appear and in most rap music and a million other places? Surely you're not claiming you missed that part, right dude? Lets face it, black folks have made the word Nigger a common place word and they need to either make a concerted effort to STOP USING IT and actually follow through or they need to accept that they're going to be called it by everyone and not bitch about it. Either you stop calling each other nigger all the time or you let everyone call you it. I'd be more than happy to see the word removed from the lexicon of regular usage but I'm forced to hear it being used on a daily basis without end so how do you expect me to pretend it's not there and treat it like it's a bad thing?

I wasn't aware black people ever went out, I thought they just ADDED African American to be all sorts of clever about it. White folks need to demand to be called European Americans dammit! Drone, watch the newest video on the site, the word nigger is used over a hundred times either to describe the person she's talking about or just as a general substitution for the word "person", this is no fly on the wall scenario, this is a public video. And it's FAR from the first time it's happened here and it's ALWAYS a black person posting it. It's also very common in regular conversation, in films and in music. In fact I dare you to turn on a rap station and not encounter the word nigger at least 50 times an hour. It's fucking obscene and it's black people who are perpetuating this bullshit. If black folks want to be treated with respect they need to knock this shit the fuck off. Faggot!

Ok, done. Ever had a conversation with a friend relative or spouse that if anybody else was a fly on the wall or took out of context may misunderstand or completely be shocked about.

Given example, say you are in bed with a lover, you spank their ass and call them a "dirty little whore", maybe you word some other things, now would that be ok to use in reference to a waitress you hired at your bar, or how about an assistant?

The case is context, as for those that get offended by openly using certain kinds of language such as  Nigga or Nigger, or Hoes and Bitch, these are people I would like to refer to as idiots, and I don't know about you, but I don't hold myself to the bench marks placed by other people, much less some idiot, who couldn't be bothered to articulate themselves in polite conversation any better than they would like someone to carry on a conversation with them.

My defense is context, Calling your lover " A dirty little whore" =  OK

Calling someone who works for you "A dirty little whore" = Not OK enjoy your lawsuit!

The answer to your question is never. It is never ok to use that kind of language and black or white someone worked for me and said that they would be fired. Comedy routine is one thing bedroom,your home or private conversation is another.

It's like using the word retard also not ok.
