I was prompted to write the blog based on what I felt was a highly offensive vlog, nothing else. Yes we're friends and I hope we remain friend even after we debate this subject. You know me well enough, you know I'm not racist but I don't approve of double standards. I'm for equality for all people, black, white, red, yellow or brown. I don't however approve of anyone using their race as a means to "get one over" on anyone else. I find Dave Chappelle to be highly offensive if you want to know the truth. Both because he throws the N word around like crazy and also because he insults white people simply for being white and has some rather stupid notions about the way white people are and behave. You also know my family is mixed race, it'd be stupid of me to think any race is better than any other race but I do think that there is a preponderance of bigotry in the world and it is NOT all white bigotry. I see a TON of black bigotry and nobody seems to believe it's a good idea to point it out. Blame it on white guilt or blame it on the reality that if anyone ever did point it out they could lose their job or get killed over it. Lets be fair here, in today's society it's perfectly acceptable for a black person to insult someone for being white, it's never challenged and is usually considered to be humorous, but the reverse is NEVER the case and that's wrong. If a rapper can throw the word nigger around 500 times on an album and make millions of dollars for it, Paula Dean should be able to say the word and get paid millions too. It's just a matter of being fair and equal. They can both use any words they like and make money from it and let that be fair. OR the world could wake the fuck up and both Paula Dean AND the rapper should lose their jobs over the abusive language and they should BOTH be vilified for it. Either of these two should be the case but I'd prefer the later. However we both know that the truth is it's okay for the rapper to say the word and get rich over it but Paula Dean gets fired.

Why would you assume I am upset, or feel goaded into anything?

Do you think I walk around angry all the time or something, like what do I walk through my house and punch walls for no reason, LOL!

What cause you used the word Nigger, you think i am going to lose my shit, or troll, maybe it's jut me that finds it kind of amusing you think that too.

Honestly, if I went through life with that much anger, and easily was triggered, I would jail by now or dead by now.

Also you seem to be under this mistaken impression that this blog was an attempt to goad you into participating, it wasn't, I wasn't even considering you when I posted it, I'd hoped to get Lez to come out of hiding and post something. See, believe it or not, we keep lots of negros on this site, we even let one of them thinks he runs it, we're cool like that. :)

Philadelphia is predominantly black Drone, I don't know when your census data comes from but, we've been a mostly black city for many years.

I know this, and the stats I posted are from the City Data.com and U.S Census Bureau, but in any cast, the evidence I put up doesn't conflict with this statement, Philadelphia may be a majority black, but the state in which Philadelphia is in is white 84% WHITE.

Admit it, you feel it's okay for BLACK people to use the word but not for anyone else. You support the double standard.

I am not ok with the double standard, but the difference is I don't freak out over something i can't do anything about, and when I can, I DO!

You even posted two Dave Chappelle videos, one of the biggest users of the word on the planet, as examples here. And he doesn't stop at just using the word nigger for his humor, he'll call white people derogatory names too. But no white comedian could EVER get away with that and that is wrong

They have do and WILL. and when you say get away with it what do you exactly mean, what context, because YOU used it first, I only responded out of amusement, but if this is how you truly feel, well, I learned something new about you.

Dave Chapelle is a Comedian, that doesn't make anything and everything he says OK, but that doesn't mean I have control over that.

As for the word NIGGER in and of itself, I am not coming off holier than thou, OF COURSE i have said it, and meant it, not only that but other things, but as I said the only difference is that i realize there is time and place, and context, and the TIMES I HAVEN'T MINDED my own words, I GOT in told about it too, and yes, my attitude MY PROBLEM has cost me, because of it.

But that isn't YOUR FAULT, that isn't Dave Chapelles fault, it isn't some writer of a badly written comedies fault.

According to the census, looks like blacks make up about just over half of PA, which I am not sure how the fuck they managed to recruit a nearly 90% black police force

Especially when the STATE of Pennsylvania, is 84% fucking white LOL!  I guess it must be one of those things like with Detroit and Michigan, where Detroit exist only inside this vaccum of everything's the niggers fault and blame it on the liberals.

Nevermind any of the other states, where cities, county's or towns are poor as fuck, or white trash, I am sure somewhere that is all the black mans fault too because he uses the word NIGGA!

The questions is not if I used it, or you used it, or anybody else used it, your question was why is it a double standard when YOU a white guy uses it, as you clearly demonstrated. There is a fine line between you placing ME in a situation of having to explain everything other black people do, and me volunteering to take responsibility and accountability for not only what black people say, but how other people react to it.

I stated clearly depending on the context, and I explained specifically where and when would not be an ok time to use it, but you can use it, YOU have used it, despite what someone else might do, or whatever form that takes.

But to answer your question of course I used the word nigger, I used a lot of other words to, the difference is, when I do say something offensive, OR whatever, I take responsibility for MY ACTIONS.  I personally don't give a shit what someone wants to say, or their particular view on life UNLESS that person aims to make THEIR problem MY PROBLEM.

Someone uses the word nigger or nigga in my employ along with a lot of other offensive language, they will quickly be unemployed.  Not simply punishing them for saying it, but because I don't subscribe to that kind of behavior, and whether it is an employer, or working with someone else, my attitude is the same, I simply PERSONALLY wouldn't participate or condone that word NIGGER.

I think you are confusing where and when I may or may not understand someone using that word, with me being OK with it, I AM NOT, and I don't have day to day conversations with anyone black or anyone else where I insult them or say the word nigger, or Nigga or anything else.
