Something needs to be done about the sock accounts here

I know that for a long, long time it has been the policy of this website to allow just about anyone in. I'm sure you have certain email accounts, and maybe even IP addresses that have been banned on a list. You know it's easy for anyone to obtain new email accounts and hide their IP addresses, so why aren't we doing more about the riff raff that comes to this site and try to cause harm to members of the site? Of course I'm speaking about the recent 'carol' account that was doxxing on Phantom. He hasn't even been here 24 hours and already he's being attacked by a sock account. Had I not seen the blog when I did and made the call to find out that it truly was his dox, how long would of it stayed up I wonder? (Thank you MBD for the prompt removal of the blog, btw.) I know that both MBD and MRB have lives and don't always have time to check the site, but with Phantom here now you may want to do it more often if you have no way of knowing who is behind each sock that wants to be a member here from here on out...just saying.

When it happened to Byte's on my stupid blog about I-Tube (I was mad at the time...lol), I immediately deleted the comment. That shit isn't funny. I never wanted that to happen. Apparently I didn't know who I was 'playing' with at the time (Diego Sanchez) and how far they would go for a lulz. The internet is a dangerous place to play, especially when you don't know who exactly you are playing with. What exactly did they hope to get out of it besides lulz? Bandikat was freaking when she answered the phone and it was me and then I told her about it, but assured her that MBD would delete it as soon as I told him. Kenny was at work, and I didn't want to bother him about it. He has enough going on his job, school and keeping his head above water right now. He doesn't need this shit to worry about.
