Loved the Living Color, followed them for a bit, but kind of got caught up in so many other things, wound up listening to a lot of stuff less, but great tunes.

I agree. Certain music takes me back to times, people I knew and places in my life...like the soundtrack to my life.

Variety is a spice of life, learning to appreciate flavors is good, I think music can do that along with a story, takes you to that time and place, and can bring along others, 

I think like that Banana Rama song brings me back to the Karate Kid, I remembered that movie, because being young from the Midwest, I often dreamed what it would be like to live on the coast near the ocean or something, where all the cool people on TV were from that i seen at that age.

Remembered that summer wanted to learn Karate so bad too, me and my friends riding bikes to 7 Eleven and getting a slushi on a Hot Summer day before hitting the beach, Great memories.

Loving  them beats, all day to day been out more than IN, but something really made me kind of think back, so I started playing some jams, and just enjoying an ice cold beverage by the pool
