The Current Situation.

Today is the 23rd. and my apologies for my absence.

I have packed up my essentials and I'm currently awaiting the opening of some pawn shops to get rid of some dead weight: Tv, toasters, etc.

My working situation hasn't improved....yet....not until the background and urine checks come back clean.  I've already taken my respirator test for the new extermination job I'm looking to reenter.....just.....waiting.

Dunkin' Donuts and I were never really meant to be together.  While simple enough, I felt like I had exceeded the food industry, even though, I've already, actually, ran the store, got myself ServSafe Certified, taken inventory and all that jazz, I just found that it wasn't challenging enough for me, despite the OBVIOUS language barriers that existed, it was just a "hold over" until something more solid presented itself and it did.  Today I'll be calling both of the other jobs I've submitted and were approved/tested for to see which will start first....but I'm pulling for the pest control.  I DID love doing it when I was employed by Terminix in '07.

As far as living arrangements are concerned, I haven't made any, though, while looking to receive my check for Dunkin, I introduced myself to a young lady of Asian decent, "Misa".  I briefly explained who I was and that I was there to get my check.  She looked disappointed that I wouldn't be working there and mentioned that she has a house that she's renting out a room in for $450/mo.  I emphasized that this would only be temporary for me and she was in unison with that, so, we'll see where that goes.

That's the update.  I'll be sure to keep everyone in the loop until my footing has been regained....then this....all of this....never happened.
