Are our Troops being used as propaganda?

i will only say what my friend tells me.
wont say his name though.
a few emails of conversation.
me just talking to you guys. he use to come home every six months.
i havnt seen him in two years now.
now the emails.
me. i asked why.
him. we arnt coming home as told we would be.
so little getting to go home because the dates were extended.
the fighting has really calmed down.
we are told to stay because of national security reasons and that was all.
me. but you are front line fighter and should be home by now.
him. i keep getting told i could go home but when the time comes i get told something different every time and have to stay.
me. arnt you suppose to have leave every year?
him. yes once no matter what and twice if lucky no war.
me. so we are not getting near peace at all?
him. well im still here so i would say no.
me. have you been attacked lately.
him. not like i use to be.
havnt gotten into any action for a while now.
me. our government just need to get things done and over with.
we cant work on your car and go hang out at the beach if you never come home.
ok that was the last email and havnt gotten a reply back yet.
my opinion is get the crap over with or get out and stop wasting so much time and money plus lives. people dont like us because we have our nose in everybodys business and bully them around. i can see on some things but come on we are always pushing more then has to be.
a few years ago nuke weapons were brought up at the white house from our intelligence teams here about there. intelligence teams there said they couldnt find any! but yet here we go rushing in and found nothing again! wow why wouldnt you listen to the people there seeing everything with their own eyes. why even have those teams there if your not going to pay attention to them? 11 teams reported nothing found. one team here said they got em.
just like that war. i will support our troops but that doesnt mean i will always support why they are there. just my thought on one war or war time not on all.

Sounds similar in rhetoric to an email I get sent written by an 'alleged soldier' advertising for "The Oath keepers".

It's absolutely true. They are just renaming the troops. There is no pullout. Obama is a loser, Bush was a loser and if (when) the next president is elected he's gonna be a loser too. wake up dude. The right and left are the same. They are all controlled by the bankers.
