vapor gets smaller and go away these things get bigger and turn into clouds. to be honest im not quite sure what they are. but i do know they are not contrails. contrails start out as vapor like you said. but at altitudes for jets like that the air is thin and cold. so they freeze. then the ice falls back to earth.contrails are frozen water vapor. these things get bigger strange that should happen. it has to be some sort of chemical reaction to make them expand. but who the fuck knows i mean its just a guess. ive just poked around the enternet reading about them.
