It may be to detur more accidents BUT...yes...the yellows ARE getting shorter. It's fucked up. Since everyone, basically, knows where all the red light cams are, the city isn't making as much revenue as they were when they were new and surprised people so now...they hide out in covert areas, around blind curves to attempt to keep generating and milking the public for money.............and THEY'RE MOBILE!

Some of those cam setups get you for speeding when you try to beat the red. I didn't know it existed until I got a ticket. To make things worse they are also shortening the yellow lights to trap people with the cams. I guess these traffic planners want people slam their brakes when the light hits yellow and cause more accidents.
