Government doesn't have the authority to make demands on you just because it says so. It's power is derived from the consent of the governed. If any government outgrows its remit to the extent where it asserts absolute power of the people it serves, it has become a Dictatorship. Unless you have caused a living being some element of harm, you have not committed a crime. Acts, policies, codes and statutes created by Government only have the force of Law when consented to by the Governed. They are nothing more than contractual agreements. There is no Law that can compel you to give your consent or into signing away your rights.
