haha well i didnt mean exclusively sex,i just believe people will want actual human presence in certain service industries as an alternative to robots handling the various tasks. waiting tables,taking orders,serving drinks,flight attendants,etc. it will be less expensive for machines do these things, actual people will be a luxury(expensive),that's sort of what i mean.

i understand what you're saying and i agree.technology can erode healthy interaction between people. its seems that technological developments with create problems that techology itself cannot resolve. regardless the advancements will continue.i'm not sure what the solutions are to the social issues that will exist.those are more complex predictions to figure out.

But if we, as humans, isolate ourselves from society, by means of evolving tech, then, I surmise, that our nature will become more destructive.  That's just MY outlook on that.  If, I'm stuck somewhere for too long, I'll set it on fire....just to see it burn...and out of boredom.  

 

As long as the sex isn't outsourced to robots, I'll be willing to compromise on the physical labor, lol.

That seems a reasonable prediction.Unpopolis is an appropriate term.i think in addition to that telecommuting will become a larger source of employment on an international scale.most physical labor will be done by robotics.actual human presence will be a luxury or "service".most driving and delivery of goods will be done by driverless automobiles which are part of synchronized transportation systems(intelligent transportation systems).driverless cars were recently made legal in nevada.i expect many natural disasters(including earthquakes and volcanic eruptions)to be largely be overcome or prevented by technological solutions. geoengineering for example.i do also think that resource conflicts will exist,more war,but in isolated regions and fought by various kinds of drones(unmanned systems).

I call them "Unpopolis".  It'll be a single living, self functioning cities.  You'll work, and live in the same complex so there'll be no commute.  I've seen that happen alot here in Wash, D.C.  100 years....I hope we're smart enough to NOT hit the red button and nuclearize our winters for the next century.
