Is Methamphetamine called otherwise also speed?
In Switzerland heroin addicts can get their free shots at a clinic.
It reduces the crime rate.
Treat meth users like you would treat sick people.
Like diabetes for instant.
I had a look at crime statistics yesterday and the USA has 12 times as many people ( per 100.000 ) in jail as Japan for instance. We will never live in a perfect world but legalize and tax soft drugs. Treat addicts of hard drugs as sick people, reduce poverty and the jail population could be 10% of what it is today.
According to my father who was a cop his entire life about half of the cops are corrupt.
Having drugs illegal feeds corruption.
If I remember right from some Dutch statistics, only 2% of the drug users use hard drugs.
Those who use hard drugs if there would be no hard drugs they would go very heavy in to alcohol and become alcoholics. I understood it's genetics and that you can't help those people.
I met once a guy who said to me that if he drinks only one glass of vine or one beer he will be drinking for the next 3 months and only stop when he is hospitalized. Happens 2 times to him so he doesn't touch any alcohol anymore because he can't controll it.
