Here is my recommendation. Back away from the entire thing. All the people involved and the argument. You cannot rationalize with irrational people (It's a bit like trying to teach your cat to bake bread.. it doesn't have the concept of ANY OF IT, technology... nothing.) . I have learned this lesson the hard way and in the end... it made no difference, did not educate anyone, solve a problem at any level nor have the result I intended which was simply the betterment of the individuals at a personal level.
I after all of this what had happened was a feeling of being exhausted, exasperated and having lost a bit of my compassion in the end. Not what I was looking to do. SO here is the long and short... CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES WISELY. Because some enemies are easily dealt with by simply leaving them to chew on their own ankle so to speak... starve em out. Ask yourself something... what do you yourself personally have to gain? That usually sets me straight.
