digger has been an issue here since the site began. not just the last 2 weeks.

Long blogs? This could be handled by a script. Limiting the length of the text. Otherwise make a web page and post here the link. Perhaps there should be only 3 people permitted to ban a user for a limited time or permanently but they should need a 2/3 majority to do so. A few but strong basic rules should be made to deal with problems.
How far can a user go in his personal attacks? Or in his spamming. I try to avoid the insulting people game. Makes life and posting much easier and if I can't get along with somebody I try to avoid the person. There should be a killfile option just like on Usenet where you don't see a poster if you find him to irritating. Also I want a limitation of sock accounts.
People who tell dangerous and malicious lies should be banned for 1 year. If you have a claim you need to back it up by evidence. Accusing people of wanting to murder your kids is not cool. In case of murder threats, real or imagined the police can be involved. So I made some screen captures of any person who want to pin that shit on me and those screen captures will be available for the police. We have to know the difference between disagreeing and malicious incriminating lies. Back to the claim that dramatube can track my IP. I don't care and I hope that Dramatube can track IP's. so long this knowledge will not be used for a Dos attack on my computer. Digger become to personal and emotional involved with the staff and some could not take this. Personal issues beside were there other issues? Long text, email spamming, phone calls and insults or threats, screaming? or do I remember wrong?
I love Usenet. The interface is better. If I could have Usenet with pictures AND videos it would be cool.
You got to figure out a way that is fair without permitting some members to destroy the entire site or go on a head hunt for individual members. A few strong but basic rules. A few guidelines. A warning or 2 before any action to be taken. Always wait 24 hours before temporary banning somebody. I am against permanent banns but in a worse case scenario up to 1 year would be OK. 7-30 days in other cases. Given people time to cool down.
