Election?

Looks like we might be going back to the polls again in Canada. Beside the fact that it would be the 5th election since 2000 and a complete waste of money, the fat overpaid pigs in Ottawa will be voting again on their confidence in the Harper Conservatives. (REFORM PARTY) Am i the only one that noticed the New Conservative party used to be the Reform Party? Am I the only one that has noticed they haven't changed their agenda since they called themselves the Reform Party? The Reformers used to be the 4th party in Canada with less seats than the Bloc Quebecois. Thanks to good old Joe Clark, they now have a nice new name and hold a minority Gov. So lets ask ourselves how that came to be. Harper seems to use American style campaigning before an election and it has already started. Well it kinda never ended. The slam ad's against the Liberals have been running for over a year now, prior to the Oct 2008 election, after the election and as far as I can tell all year long on some channels like, CTV owned stations and today I saw a slam ad on the comedy network. (Owned by guess who? CTV) Personally I think it is pretty fucking sad that you have to run slam ad's when an Election hasn't even been called. But I guess enough Canadians are complete moron's and buying into this style of politics because Harper seems to be getting enough votes to keep his pathetic ass in office. So let's look at what kept Harper in office a year ago? He claimed that the economy was just grand and that Canada was in great shape. We all had nothing to worry about. Well we now know that was a big fucking lie, don't we. We went from being in great shape, to having a 30 billion deficit, (even that was bullshit) then the true 60 Billion deficit came to light about 3 months after the election and after Harper went crying to the Governor General to help him keep his job. He had Parliament shut down for a few months while people lost their pensions, jobs, homes, cars and everything they had spent a lifetime gaining. I doubt he missed a meal during that time, or any sleep after he realized his job was safe for at least another year.

I wrote this blog today because of yet another slam ad on a CTV owned station and my growing intolerance to them. I am guessing that they will only become more frequent in the weeks to come after the confidence vote takes place and I can only hope we all don't have to go to the polls again. I say let Harper sink himself, his parties true colors will come out soon enough in full force. He can't do that now because he only has a minority Gov, but I am sure given the chance with a majority Gov, we will see exactly what the Reform Party is made of. If you would like to know what they stand for just do a google search of The Reform Party, you will soon see why they never had a chance at ruling in Canada.

In closing, Mr Harper, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have lied to Canadians and in my opinion have failed as the leader of this country. Your party has done nothing worthy since 2006 and hopefully Canadians see through your facade should we be forced back to the polls.
