In response to Dr. Lurkenstein - How Codex, GMO, Big Pharma will rob us and ruin our health.

This is a blog in response to Dr. Lurkenstein. He has asked some honest questions so I appreciate the opportunity to respond. It is lengthy, but there is no way to address his all his issues in a short blog.

I will start with the short summary. Your right ignorance is like walking without a care in the world, but it only lasts until reality and the evil of the world kicks your behind. You know what happened to the undesirables during WWII. The undesirables ended up dead or slaves. There is a good chance those cancer sticks will give you lung/breathing problems later in life. As you stated it is your choice and in fact I support that fact because you have the right to decide your choice of enjoyment without government intervention despite the fact that it could cause issues later in life.That is what freedom is. Freedom is the ability to make what choices you decide and not be forced into the box of control and manipulation the evil men of this world desire for you. If I decide to use Echinacea & Goldenseal to help the common cold rather than to go to the doctor for some poison, that is my choice and my right. But see the Greedy drug companies don’t like that because they want you as a slave and they want your money. So they are using their money and power to manipulate the system to rob you of everything they can get. They don’t make money off the healthy, so they have to make you ill. That is the goal of Codex Alimentarius.

If you don’t get enough Niacin, you get a disease called Pellagra. Not enough Vitamin C, you get scurvy. If you have the knowledge and understanding with the proper supplements one can prevent disease.The greedy Big Pharmaceutical industry cannot tolerate that.The vitamin list on the food labels was shortened, because the medical industry does not want you to treat yourself. They would rather kill you slowly making huge profits off of it. You may not see it as much since you are under a socialized health care system and you pay for it though your high taxes, but in the United States the most profitable legal industry is the prescription drug industry.

Another possible source of illnesses is the untested Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO food). Big Agribusiness specifically the top four seed companies (In 2006, Monsanto, Dupont (aka Pioneer), Syngenta, Groupe Limagrain) controlled about 50% of the proprietary seed market. (The makers of the seeds that produce GMO foods)

For those farmers whom use those seeds have to pay royalties on any yields they may acquire and these seeds have been genetically modified not to produce viable seeds.So the farmer has to go back to Monsanto, etc. every year and buy new seeds. In addition, these seeds require specific conditions like additional irrigation and in the case of Monsanto the Use of Roundup in order to produce a viable crop. Talk about a lot of money. You have to buy both the seeds and the herbicide from the same manufacture. Should I tell you that some of these genetically modified plants produce their own pesticide inside the inner tissues of the plant? Go read the book Botany of Desire by Michael Polland the chapter on the potato. So if you eat a potato you could be eating poison.

As you indicated Stalin starved the Ukraine into compliance. Likewise if the merged interests of the corporations and the government work together they could do the same using inconspicuous techniques. A reduced compliant population will do whatever the government wants even at their own expense. Look at the Jews in Nazi Germany.

These are the unstated goals (aka the hidden agenda) of Codex Alimentarius which is a part of the UN thus the goals include Sweden. I quote from the website listed below.

• Dietary supplements could not be sold for preventive (prophylactic) or therapeutic use.

• Potencies would be limited to extremely low dosages. Only the drug companies and the big phytopharmaceutical companies would
  have the right to produce and sell the higher potency products (at
  inflated prices).
• Prescriptions would be required for anything above the extremely low doses allowed (such as 35 mg. on niacin).
• Common foods such as garlic and peppermint would be classified as drugs or a third category (neither food nor drugs) that only big pharmaceutical companies could regulate and sell. Any food with any therapeutic effect can be considered a drug, even benign everyday substances like water.
• Codex regulations for dietary supplements would become binding (escape clauses would be eliminated).
• All new dietary supplements would be banned unless they go through Codex testing and approval.
• Genetically altered food would be sold worldwide without labeling.

According to John Hammell, a legislative advocate and the founder of International Advocates for Health Freedom (IAHF), here is what we have to look forward to. "If Codex Alimentarius has its way, then herbs, vitamins, minerals, homeopathic remedies, amino acids and other natural remedies you have taken for granted most of your life will be gone. The name of the game for Codex Alimentarius is to shift all remedies into the prescription category so they can be controlled exclusively by the medical monopoly and its bosses, the major pharmaceutical firms. Predictably, this scenario has been denied by both the Canadian HealthFood Association and the Health Protection Branch of Canada (HPB).


The Codex Alimentarius proposals already exist as law in Norway and Germany where the entire health food industry has literally been taken over by the drug companies. In these countries, vitamin C above 200 mg is illegal as is vitamin E above 45 IU, vitamin B1 over 2.4 mg and so on. Shering-Plough, the Norway pharmaceutical giant, now controls an Echinacea tincture, which is being sold there as an over the counter drug at grossly inflated prices. The same is true of ginkgo and many other herbs, and only one government controlled pharmacy has the right to import supplements as medicines which they can sell to health food stores, convenience stores or pharmacies."

It is now a criminal offence in parts of Europe to sell herbs as foods. An agreement called EEC6565 equates selling herbs as foods to selling other illegal drugs. Action is being taken to accelerate other European countries into 'harmonization' as well.

As you can see through the manipulation of the food and the banning of supplements in significant doses the medical and the big agribusiness can make a ton of money. I cannot help you if you refuse to look things up and prove the facts for yourself. I am just warning whomever will listen that the government as well as big business is taking action that is hazardous to your health. If you choose to live in ignorance you cannot state that you were not warned. Sure people chant the attacks on 9/11 was an inside job. Is it true? I don’t know. I have not seen enough evidence to prove it is true or not. Many Americans have a similar attitude as you have discussed. It is called, I am fat, stupid, lazy, selfish, and I just don’t give a rat’s behind. As long as the government gives me housing, free food, & “good entertainment”, the government can do what they want. Thirty four percent of Americans still want this health care bill because they believe it will be free and they don’t have to worry about it. They are totally ignorant of the issues of socialized medicine.

Now I will address some of the picky complaints. In American English the term men can be defined as both men and women collectively. Unlike some of the misandrists claim it is not a term of sexism. To answer your question, I am a male.

This brings me to the point about the comment on uneducated. Most of us are uneducated about some factor of life. I am certain that you are much more educated than I am about a lot of things. I will fully admit that I am uneducated about Swedish politics, but there are multiple other areas that I am certain that you are more educated than I am. The phrase “for the uneducated” could be aptly translated into “If you did not know.” I did not mean any derogatory connotation. I apologize if you were offended. Even in the field of American Politics/Law there are parts that I am uneducated about. The other night I learned about the US Supreme Court case of Erie Rail Road co. vs. Tompkin (1938) that literally rewrote American law. Remember the majority of a poll of High School students from the state of Oklahoma cannot pass a simple test on American Civics (government), so there is justification for assuming some level of ignorance.

Now I will provide a little more information about the indication of health hazards of GMO foods. Through massive production It is estimated 80+ percent of the corn in the US is GMO.

There is indication that the GMO foods are causing the mass destruction of the Bee population that is essential to pollination. If the bees go extinct then there is a possibility everything goes extinct including humans. Because the base of the food chain is plants and a key of plant pollination is the bees.

Codex not only wants to Ban Vitamins & Supplements, but to allow the use of previously banned pesticides and force you to eat GMO foods. Remember the big seed companies that make GMO seeds are pushing Codex for their profit. For those that do not want to eat GMO foods I recommend you get some heirloom seeds and grow your own food. That is if your area permits it. I know much of Sweden has a very short, if any growing season.

I need to correct your comments about treating meat with carbon monoxide gas. Carbon monoxide is one of the deadly gases that comes from the tailpipe of your car. Unlike you understood it is totally different than carbon dioxide (the gas you exhale).

To my knowledge it does not act as a preservative to prevent bacteria from multiplying that causes spoilage.As you stated it appears to prevent the Oxidation of meat. So it does prolong the time for rancid spoilage. But there is no way to tell if the meat is spoiled from bacteria if it is red and does not smell.

As for the comments on watching the source of the meat, thanks for the laugh. Most Americans live in the cities and never see the source of their meat. To offer a better translation, Please use caution and buy your meat from reputable sources. Meat is often contaminated by improper handling procedures. I did find this survey from Britain funny.
