had a cat-1 here for like 8 hrs, was stressful but no major damage to my house, however, 2 neighbors lost their roofs - neither were home - and trees down everywhere like the news shows.  VA has had so much heat and no rain that we definitely didn't flood, but no power or water for 24 hrs and I had a live stream on my phone that I didn't use much b/c I didn't want to have to go out to the car to charge it - 70+MPH wind gusts sounds like an incoming freight train over and over...on top of tornado warnings.

but other than more cleaning up this week, life is back to normal for me

what was sad though, the looters and heartless freaks out in VA Beach.  That is why VA is an open carry state and should always be, steel has a magical way of handling the creeps =)
