Something needs to be done about the sock accounts here

I know that for a long, long time it has been the policy of this website to allow just about anyone in. I'm sure you have certain email accounts, and maybe even IP addresses that have been banned on a list. You know it's easy for anyone to obtain new email accounts and hide their IP addresses, so why aren't we doing more about the riff raff that comes to this site and try to cause harm to members of the site? Of course I'm speaking about the recent 'carol' account that was doxxing on Phantom. He hasn't even been here 24 hours and already he's being attacked by a sock account. Had I not seen the blog when I did and made the call to find out that it truly was his dox, how long would of it stayed up I wonder? (Thank you MBD for the prompt removal of the blog, btw.) I know that both MBD and MRB have lives and don't always have time to check the site, but with Phantom here now you may want to do it more often if you have no way of knowing who is behind each sock that wants to be a member here from here on out...just saying.

MBD, I apologize to you and Bytes for the comments made. It can't be easy keeping a handle on the site, and it was me being a 'bad girl' again, stirring shit...sorry. The people you listed do deserve a big shout out for money/time spent here. Not sure what I want to do with the site. I'll just stop bitching and try to think of something.

I can get i-tube interesting again however, I have no control of something that I do not own. This is your baby and not mine. You want us to get it going then you have to allow us to be able to do it.

If I had any control then I would try things without drama and make i-tube a friendly place for the members without some sock account and trolls running the ship. you have tons of people who can get this site active but it is getting certain people active, again.

If you allow some freedom then you will be surprised of the outcome and this can be a better site. I am not going to force you to do anything. I am not going to plead or ask anything. You want member to participate then let's end the drama and make this a better place.

You want a mod? Open you eyes and the answer will hit you like a brick.

I would like to know just how many violations there have been since it was opened. Asked Ning, but they said that was 'insider information' and I'd have to ask the owner.

No need to be paranoid about someone posting a member's dox and having to tell the owner about it because the Mod is nowhere to be seen. I'm sure you would feel the same if it had of been your own dox dropped. Next time I will just let the blog sit there until the people 'in charge' have time to get to it.
