I meant to type "NO DUI's for cough syrup, aspirin etc." OOPS... that could be taken way wrong... why the heck can't you edit your posts afterwards... that was not what I meant.... I meant "NO" (not "do").. sorry.

It is a mess... and anybody interested should read "The emperor wears no clothes" http://norml.org - now, let it be understood that I really don't give a damn what a person does with their life. If they want to use "dope" for medicinal purposes... then by all means. It is not my place nor anyone else's for that matter, to tell them how to treat their sicknesses etc... but - moderation in all things is the key. What I am interested in, is the demonization of ANYTHING by a federal entity for their own personal gain. It is my belief that the reason for the "drug war" is the inability to control it, in it's minutia, and thereby bringing their distraught due to the incapability to tax appropriately and efficiently, as historically displayed by their vehement desire to do so exorbitantly on anything that can be taken advantage of. NOW... in CA, and where I am in CO. The local "state" laws have changed regarding MJ. ONLY.. NOT all "Dope", but MJ has been legalized for medical use and decriminalized for the layperson/(non-prescribed user) with the exception that they are in possession of "less than one ounce". And with no interest in it's method of obtainment. So.. things are changing slowly. But in regard to abuse... it is my opinion that abuse can be participated in regarding any number of things... and should be described as such when it endangers a persons ability to function normally in society in law abiding and reasonable fashion. This includes driving under the influence etc... or operating heavy machinery. And the same stance is taken with ALL prescription drugs within reason. i.e .. do DUI's for cough syrup, aspirin etc... - And just to state, while i am here, I personally have absolutely zero interest in the use of MJ personally, medically or otherwise, but I simply have a opinion and a moderate knowledge regarding the subject and am by no means it's "representative".
