Washington, DC -- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has done it again! They have issued a booklet to every law enforcement agency in the nation entitled "Domestic Extremism Lexicon" that defines who they see as "Extremists."
While one might expect to see entries such as "Aryan Brotherhood Prison Gang" there are quite a few other groups one would never expect to see officially defined as "Extremists."
For instance, "alternative media" is one entry, described as ". . . . .information sources that provide a forum for interpretations of events and issues that differ radically from those presented in mass media. . . . ." Yes, you actually read that: to DHS, any news outlet that doesn't tout the party line is extremist!
Another entry is "antiabortion extremists" which DHS defines as ". . . . .groups or individuals who are virulently antiabortion . . . . ."
You're going to love this next one: "anti-immigration extremism" which DHS defines as ". . . . .
groups or individuals who are vehemently opposed to illegal immigration . . . . . highly critical of the U.S. Government’s response to illegal immigration and oppose government programs that are designed to extend “rights” to illegal aliens, such as issuing driver’s licenses or national identification cards and providing in-state tuition, medical benefits, or public education."
Yes, you actually read that. If you are opposed to people who come here unlawfully, your own government has now defined YOU as an extremist!
The document goes on to say ". . . . . groups or individuals who do not recognize the legitimacy of the Communist Cuban Government . . . . ." are Cuban independence extremists.
The eleven page document released in March, 2009 even goes so far as to define PATRIOT GROUPS and a whole host of other, everyday, average Americans as extremists based on their political, social, cultural and even Religious views!
The document is Unclassified but labeled "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY" and contains specific instructions on page two that it is not to be released to the media or to the general public.
No wonder. When all the people they define as extremists get wind of this, the whole country will have just cause to be ticked-off.
The Turner Radio Network is pleased to once again, expose a DHS report via the link below.

NOTE: The last time we published one of these DHS reports was on April 12 at THIS LINK. WIthin days of its release, a firestorm of controversy erupted forcing Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano to publicly apologize for calling returning military Veterans "potential domestic security threats."
This latest disclosure is likely to cause even wider public anger.
Hopefully, you will now trust that we do, in fact, have sources within DHS and our reporting is accurate.
