Russian policeman speaks out against corruption - 10 Nov 09
It's national police day in Russia, a holiday supposed to honour and celebrate the country's security forces.
But one former member of the police won't be marking the occasion after he was sacked for making an internet video about corruption within the forces.
In the video he talks of widespread corruption, and says it's impossible for Russian police officers to survive without taking bribes.
Andrew Potter reports.

I know. Something like 70% of the Russian cops are corrupt.
I am from Greece. In my country ONLY 50% of the cops are corrupt.
So I guess Greece is doing fine!?
I live in Finland since 26 years.
According to statistics Finland is the least corrupt most democratic country in the world.
Which is BS. Finland has more convictions of human rights abuses then Germany ( with a population 15 times of Finland ) pending cases.

I think you meant verb 2?!
I made a few comments on that video.
1) Pay the police decent wages
2) Investigate corruption and kick corrupt cops out
3) Have minimum wages that are covering the basic needs of people
