I don't believe he was looking for much of a reaction in this speech, but perhaps more of a understanding as to the role of American citizens in regards to what America does abroad and why... ... as well as how we must uphold the morals and values within our own Constitution.... and to not let our "leaders" justify going to war under false pretenses or losing our civil liberties in exchange for "security"..... to strive to be educated and not so ignorant about the world we live in....to be more active within the political spectrum...and to have a voice and let it be heard.

Going to have to watch this more than once, as at the end, I was confused as to exactly WHAT the message is here... this man is very well-spoken, and raises many valid points and questions, but my question is this: What reaction was he looking for, specifically? Shame at being American? Shame for "allowing" our troops to fight in Iraq? Shame over our "consumerism"? Guess it's just too early, and I've not had enuff coffee to see any clear message here...
