The earth is still here....just royally fucked up. Mostly everyone is dead. You are now some lone warrior or bad ass biker chick, strapped with.....I don't know....guns and shit? You can't rebuild what's left in your image, well not by yourself. You drive a bit more and stumble past someone who looks like they could use a friend, for they, too, are alone. THIS is your sidekick. They're the Robin to your Batman, the Stewie to your Brian, the Drank to your Smokes, to help you fend off vagabonds, thieves and who knows WHAT THE FUCK else is out there.
