DMCA 101 - What you do NOT possess copyrights to....
The DMCA doesn't permit you to copyright your own face. The guy in the video thought that he could DMCA people for this and well he got a rude awakening. The legal system is like fire, you start playing around with it and sooner or later your ass is gonna get burned. Think twice before abusing the DMCA or you could find yourself having to swallow your pride and make an apology video in order to avoid jail time.... just like Michael Crook.
Plus, we'd like to say that Dramatube.net is EXTREMELY intolerant over false DMCA's. We have no choice but to be strict asses when it comes to copyright abuse. If you are caught filing a false DMCA you will be permanently banned. To further clarify that means no 3 strikes and also no account reinstatement's later on. The only snowballs chance in hell one has of ever coming back, is if we receive an email from Ning stating that the abuser has legally retracted their DMCA's. If or when this happens then the person MIGHT get a reprieve from us, otherwise they're gone for good.
So if a member is having issue with another fellow member. They are advised to keep the DMCA out of their feud if he or she wants to continue participating on this site.
