What is this bullshit? I heard about it yesterday. A do not call list implies theres a directory for cellphones available to the public, something I was wholly unaware even existed. Is this some of that new patriot act faggotry gradually encroaching upon muh freedoms?
Doesnt affect the telephone survey business.Thats exepmt from the Telecommications act of 1996.
People try to bitch slap me all the time, we dont sell a fucking thing. It is opinion gathering. It is not dial a curse.
We delete thousands of numbers day.But area codes and prefixes are public record, the last 4 digits are dialed randomly. We dont maintain a data base of numbers either. Most people are willing to answer questions about things they are concerned about, instead of using it as an opporutnity to curse out a total stranger.
Id rather do phones surveys than have to deal with many of the pitfalls of other jobs.
Interesting though, we have done surveys to cell phone numbers, but we pay the people that qualify and finish the survey 10 to 20 bucks.
Not bad money either for the person doing the job.We use CATI Computer Assisted Telecommuncation Interface... most people are cool. But sometimes I get an officious cuntlag that wants to sue for calling.
I tell them Ill delete the number, which BTW, we dont use names, they always say,"Take my name off you list."Sir-Mam, we dont have names in surveys." FUCK YOU!" Thank you, have a nice day"
On to the next one...:)

Those bullshit ass lists are nothing more than a way to harvest phone numbers for those fucktards.
They pull that list and call everybody on it......that is why I have never even attempted to put my number on that shit.

Thats what I thought too, but apparently theres a number to call to get on a do not call list that has been circulating, and is even on the federal trade commission website.
