***Heads Up*** - Check Your Email Account
I just got an email from someone I am doing business with. My email account is through a private domain NOT GMAIL. The email address on that email suddenly shows my YouTube username in front of my email address. Soooo.....how the hell did that happen? Google is highjacking my email address.
I don't like this AT ALL. People in my private life and that I do business with can now find me on YouTube...It should be up to me whether I want to share that information or not. I am going to try to change my email address on YouTube and if that doesn't work, I will be closing the YouTube channel I have had since 2007. Thanks Google - now go die in a fire.

I've been thinking about this..... I'm thinking that because this particular email address is also the email I used to sign up for YT....the person who emailed me did it from their phone which was probably a Google product.....and Google just automatically connected that email to my YT name.
I had my husband send me an email from his phone (a non-Google product) and my YT name didn't show up.
Google is evil.
