So in response to the "ObamaCare" video I posted.....

I'd like to start this out by first making it crystal clear that I am in no way representing either party (Democratic / Republican) concerning the claims being made within the quarrel of this debate. The only representation you'll "hear" from me is my own personal opinion of & from what I've gathered through doing simple internet searches and cross-referencing whatever "so-called facts" which are available at my fingertips.

What mainly interests me..... is this constant rebuttal between our two party system, and how so many people don't recognize the obvious instability of this political structure... in my opinion, (in this day and age) the Republicans and Democrats just monopolize political power in the United States, and the two-party system no longer actually serves the interests of the nation....

.....I mean, (just for example) according to a NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll (December 2007), 47% of those surveyed felt that the two-party system “has real problems,” while another 29% felt that the system was “seriously broken.” (NO KIDDING?!) But regardless, we're here to talk about this Health Care bill atrocity correct?

A comment like this leaves me to believe ... well... perhaps you believe to much of what you watch on television? (Fox News is extremely bad for you btw). You know, marginalizing ALL Republicans as "stupid" really doesn't help your argument at all. Keep in mind that one of the highest ranking greatest Presidents of the U.S. by the name of Thomas Jefferson, yeah he's that guy who wrote the Declaration of Independence, he also was co-founder of the "Democratic-Republican Party" (or in other words "Constitutionalists", as well as "Classical liberalism") I believe those guys were mainly Republicans, but at times Democrats... interesting huh? ;)

Now as far as your comment concerning "I would like this part of the bill to be read in full context.".... well if you actually paid attention to what the Congressman was saying, you'd know that this was NOT in the bill itself, but actually from a letter/memo from the Joint Committee on Taxation (JTC) in regards to the enforcement of the Internal Revenue Code when one fails to comply. (you can read the letter below)

And would you care to explain to me what these insurance brokers would need some Republicans for?! And as far as I'm concerned, not to mention entirely off subject , but I believe no matter what insurance company a broker works for, they most definitely frown on ANY sort of competition... it's their JOB to.

Just another example of why I despise how the mainstream media depicts the two party system and the members thereof. Well now that that's out of the way, let me try and simply illustrate what I believe that this "pubic hair" is claiming in this video below.


So what Congressman Roskam is actually quoting from is this letter from the JCT....

Now this letter clearly states that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.

All this guy (Roskam) is asking (and plenty others) is why such a great health care bill, demands such unconstitutional mandates and furthermore criminalizes those who can obviously NOT afford this tax and simply cannot fork over the cash to acquire this government regulated health care?!

This video below contains a lot of profanity, so be advised. The healthcare piece of crap has passed the House in a close vote. I have one iota of hope that this can still be stopped in the Senate. We need to stay on this 100% and tell your senators that this simply will not do. This bill is a direct bailout for insurance companies by funding their dangerous investment schemes since they have no legal oversight or distinction from banks and investment houses. Also find ways to get to the insurance companies by making them pay for as much as you can and boycott what you can, as well as agitation against them. If this bill makes it through the Senate then we have a new mission and that is to flood the healthcare system with problems. If you stub your toe go to the emergency room. Get a bloody nose, off to the doctor. Get a cut same thing. Have a little cough to the doctor. Ask your doctor for drugs you don't have any intention of taking for conditions you may or may not have. If they mandate that we must have coverage then let's make the companies pay through the nose.
