I'm pretty sure I understood this video.;) The subject was supposedly about human enslavement by others through various means. Through Stephbot's historical summary he presented his take the evolution of slavery that led to a form that benefits the state. Not mentioning the abuses of capitalism, such as sweatshops and child labor was a big omission. Working long hours in a factory for pennies a day is an obvious form of slavery. In a less extreme example it could be as common as having an employer forcing their employees to work overtime and not paying for their time. The analogy that people are being groomed to be livestock for the benefit of others could be applied to capitalism as well. We have been taught to consume and produce goods and services very early on to perpetuate our economic system. Based on these omissions, it is reasonable to conclude that this video's intent was to promote his ideology of unfettered free market capitalism and anti-statism.
As you can tell I'm not a believer of unrestricted free markets. This form of capitalism requires a lot of faith in people. Not all companies and corporation can deliver on what they promise or can be trusted to do it at a reasonable price. If we remove regulation and crippled the enforcement authority by the government, who will check and verify the work of big business? In light of the recent business failures, the coal mine explosion, and the disaster in the Gulf, I have no reason to believe that companies are capable of always working in the best interest of the public.
The video doesn't change much for me. If you got rid of taxes, more money would be paid for services that were once offered by government. I wouldn't want to live in a place where the police and fire departments were providing their services for a profit. In the 1800's, firemen only put out fires for people that carried their companies insurance. If you had the wrong one or had none your place burned down and got looted.
