United States Marines Invade Manhattan!!

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) put on this reenactment of the type of actions they were forced under order to undertake in Iraq. IVAW was founded by Iraq war veterans in July 2004 at the annual convention of Veterans for Peace (VFP) in Boston to give a voice to the large number of active duty service people and veterans who are against this war, but are under various pressures to remain silent. Please be aware that the use of violence is NOT condoned by Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) and the portrayal of such actions in this video are only to show the truth about the brutality of what's really going on in Iraq. And this video is really only scratching the surface of the insanity and sheer madness of the things happening in that part of the world. It also helps explain how the military establishment is conditioning and programming soldiers to become acclimated to violence and conditioned to respond to such unconstitutional and egregious orders. Luckily, many of the soldiers are breaking free of their bondage to the inhumanity that the system pushes on to them. Ultimately this inhumanity is foisted onto the backs of the American people, disgracing our culture and society and falsely presenting this as representative of something that WE as Americans are TOTALLY AGAINST!

I'm by far not trying to insult your intelligence... and apparently you haven't a CLUE what I'm about or who I am.... the only thing I do on a daily basis is seek out answers.... I find your disregard for humanity quite disturbing and I'm quite appalled you'd try and turn this around as an "always faithful" cop-out... always faithful to WHAT Koolaid?.... to our tyrannical government... to those who command you to do things inhumane and against the values and morals of the United States Constitution? You know... you're right... I'm far past debating with narrow mindedness.... so your answer then is YES torture is ok, and even when there's no evidence and the prisoners tortured end up being set free anyways... in that film that you wont watch... let me just summarize it for you... a group of your fellow Marines end up being "wrongly stationed" there at Abu Ghraib and they all have come forth telling their story with the photos and everything... the end result, they all served time and the Iraqi POW's involved had also told their story in the film were all set free because no charges were filed because they were all wrongly accused, one of the prisoners father who also didn't do ANYTHING died in his arms...... this is your fucking Semper Fidelis trash... I'm sorry but you've lost any kind of respect I had for you... you could really learn something from a real American ex-Marine Patriot like Adam Kokesh... at least he's fuking doing something instead of trolling around the internet bashing people and contributing NOTHING of value... sorry to be so harsh... but... it's people like you that disgust me... especially for being someone of intelligence and experience... Maybe I'm mistaken, but regardless.... if "TORTURE" was something they made you do would you think any differently? And do you believe throughout history that the wars we fought were completely justifiable?! You've always seemed to me like a pretty intellectual gal with perhaps some knowledge into our war history...but again, maybe I'm mistaken... have you seen the film/documentary called "Ghosts of Abu Ghraib"? I recommend this film to ANYONE with an interest into the truth behind torture and the American Military... as a matter of fact I'll post this one in the Movies section as well.
