@MBRH, yes exactly. I was really tired, drunk, stoned and just about to hit the sack when I wrote that comment below, LOL. I couldn't quite "get my thoughts on paper", that's why you see me mumbling and stuttering at the end there ... "but it's just different.... not so overwhelming.. or fake-like.. It's hard to explain." LOL
But thank you, you've explained exactly what I was wanting to say! =)

@Realize - I think you mean the news corporations in other countries aren't run by factions bent on skewing public image towards making corporate rule not look so bad, and more importantly that theres nothing the people can do about it.

@ 1:20...Robin; "...You enjoy living outside of the United States" .... Jesse; "YES, because it gives you a new perception of the United States, it gives you one from the outside looking in as opposed to the inside looking out."
It never ceases to amaze me how many people I've tried explaining what Ventura said above and obviously realizes as well, and they still don't have a clue. Or the fact that most Americans have this habit of forgetting that the rest of the world exists (the sun only revolves around America). But I'm just as guilty though... that is, before I left the states to come live in Germany. Jesse's absolutely right... I've got a completely different perspective of the entire system in America since I've been here... and it has nothing to do with the society or economy or politics here at all... I've actually got some pretty strong opinions about everything over here as well... but the difference is... well... mainly the media. The media over here isn't so goddamn psycho and manipulating... i mean don't get me wrong, it's still "prepared media"... but it's just different.... not so overwhelming.. or fake-like.. It's hard to explain.
