Not sure I Buy the Official Story of Joe Stack.

Some of the questions appear below with attempt to further analyze the incident with what is available.

Q: Do you honestly believe that aircraft caused all that fire and damage?

Let's take a closer look. First, we need to find out the relative size and type of plane along with assessing the impact damage on the building and if a plane could create such an impact.

First, let's find an account of a similar type of plane incident hitting a building. Below we see what a similar size plane does to a different building:

Now, taking a look at what Joe's plane allegedly did:

It is fair to say these two buildings have different structures. The first one has some brick and glass, while the IRS building is mostly glass. The first main question would be .. where is the gaping hole that the plane caused on entry? From this picture, there doesn't seem to be any. Also, why are the pillars (columns that construct the building frame) pointing outward and not inward? Pointing outward would indicate a blast from inside, not from massive penetration from the outside. In that respect, the pilliars would be bent sideways and/or inward. If you were shown this picture not knowing what caused the damage, what would you say caused this damage .. a plane or a bomb?

Q: Why were there several reports of Hazmat and Fire crews already at the scene
prior to the crash?

An eye-witness said says that Hazmat teams and fire trucks were in place across the street before the building was hit by the plane. The same eye-witness also said they saw the plane flying low, but did not see it hit the building. The witness said it looked like someone was just flying low or "messing around". If the witness is credible, then it does put a plane near the scene. What's interesting is that the media on site (Austin News) said they talked to a pilot that morning who said he saw the plane in fact hit the building and it was a Cherokee 140. They showed his testimony and he stated that the plane hit the building between the first and second floor. You can see the Austin news coverage at the scene here.

As for the Hazmat trucks at the scene before impact, one news source indicated their source said the FBI knew the attack was coming. If the FBI did know beforehand, why wasn't it STOPPED?

Q We are told they found 2 bodies. Have they said who they were?

No, no news of who they are yet, or if we'll ever hear who they were.

This next comment/question comes from Anne Wright on her blog:

C The media knew immediately who was responsible and had immediate access to his supposed suicide/manifesto.Yet when real terrorists attacks or real acts of violence occur, we wait for law enforcement officials to hold press conferences. The media waits and gathers the facts on the ground. There is no rush to judgment. The fact that Shep Smith on Fox (as well as AP and Reuters) and the others in the media were already releasing snippits of this man's supposed diatribe makes me wonder. How long did it take us to learn the motivating factor of the Ft Hood shooter? It usually takes Google a good 2-4 hours to index a blog and maybe 24-48 hours to index a low-content site. So how did the media find his name so quickly? How did they know to search for Joe Stack? His body didn't get discovered until late afternoon. Did someone recognize him in the cock-pit before he crashed? I would also remind everyone that we are a nation of laws and people are innocent until proven guilty. And in this case, Joe Stack was "crucified" by the media (including Fox) before the case was investigated. The media is acting recklessly and on emotion.

Just like with the MJ incident, the media already had hours worth of stuff compiled and ready for viewing within a very short time after it occurred. IntelliFETCH has blog content often within-in minutes for "hot content", but do know Google takes longer as they are still using spiders and not RSS feeds. So, the 2-4 hour thing is likely true as i have never seen anything indexed sooner than this on Google. I do know it can take a week or longer for Google to index a low-content or "low ranking" site. It's usually within a week. Google is partnered with the media for stories (in order to have the same version) as are Yahoo and Bing. There is a set of spiders with the label "Media" that are used for this purpose (for those that look at web logs). If a big story comes out, you'll see everything the media is touting for the first several pages. See this article explaining that in detail.

Q Did Joe really die and why?

His "Manifesto" was well written but confusing and even boring at times (sorry), but it sure lacked emotion for a guy setting out to do a deed like 9/11 but on a much smaller scale. Out of all the ways to "get back" at the IRS, he chooses to fly his plane into the building. Furthermore, his "Suicide Manifesto" had some belief conflicts it seems. On one hand he's for universal health-care and against Capitalism, yet on his Facebook page he has the Gadson Flag for his main symbol and quotes Jefferson about "Tyranny". Capitalism certainly isn't Tyranny, and if he is supposed to be an intelligent Software Engineer, than why couldn't he differentiate Capitalism from Tyranny? Why would he, at the end of his long note, prop up Communism through a Marx quote and degrade Capitalism with a similar quote? So his Manifesto is that written like a Marxist, yet his Facebook page reflects that of a "Patriot" or someone who loves their country. America is all about (or has been) Capitalism and Free markets, why would he honor Jefferson, who in a Marxist view, is a Racist/Terrorist?

I guess he's no Kid Rock who often wears a Flag when performing, but this sure doesn't tell anyone much.

C All those who knew Joe Stack say they never saw this in him. One man, who knew him for 6 years, said he was even apolitical. Reports from those who knew him say he was fun-loving, happy, and loved his family.

You sure woudn't know that by his Facebook page .. or was that really his Facebook page, how do we really know? There have been many instances of mock pages created to look like someone's, when in fact, it wasn't their page. All you have to do is put a name to the page. It's funny how his middle name was used, but no where else, not in his Manifesto either, was it signed with his Middle name. If the page was mocked, then was the middle name used to allieviate any doubt that this was the Joe Stock who hit the IRS building?

Also, it was said he started his house on fire before running off to the Hangar. Were there any pictures of his home on fire? Are there any interviews of his Wife and Daughter? If anyone has that information, please let us know.

A criminal profiler said Joe Stack was a "Self-loathing Narcissist". Here is a snipped from that commentary:

Joseph Andrew Stack, a disgruntled software engineer who police say deliberately crashed a small plane into a Texas office building, was likely a "self-loathing" individual who blamed others for his own perceived failures, a world-renowned criminal profiler said.

Stack, 53, apparently set fire to his house before he flew a small plane into an Austin office building housing Internal Revenue Service employees. He is presumed to have died in the crash.

"A narcissist hates losing and then facing reality, so Joe vented his anger via a letter before killing himself," said criminal investigative psychologist Maurice Godwin, who has not treated Stack.

"Narcissists hold others responsible for everything that goes wrong in their lives" .. ** Hmmm, who does that sound like?

"While the word may be overly used, this type of 'blame others' mentality is a sign of pathological narcissism."

"It has to be someone else's fault, 'the world' or our 'government,' " Godwin said. "This was no doubt Joe Stack's personality. Joe Stack had no idea how he got into bad situations throughout his life, whether it was personally or financially. If you believe you're godlike, you must be perfect, right? Why should Joe Stack have changed his behavior for anyone else?"

So, if this guy's profile is right, I guess the media would then have to say that the "Teabaggers" are all Narcissists then too (as the media tried to associate Joe with "Teabaggers").

Let's explore his Manifesto a bit. His Manifesto can be found here. This passage doesn't make any sense:

So, by this passage, it says that we are brainwashed to believe there is freedom and should lay down for the "noble principles" represented by the founding fathers, and then at the end of the passage it says that anyone who stands up for this principal is labled a "crackpot"? If we are all brainwashed to believe it, then wouldn't we all be "crackpots"?

The next passage sounds like an ad for Healthcare. Yet, Joe hates the government and talks about healthcare not being addressed. Where has he been the last year? Obama and Congress have been trying to pass it "hell or high water"?

So, if I am understanding correctly, this is saying the government can come and out and aid a Capitalist firm but not pay out for health-care. You'd think a software engineer would know this was by design and a means to nationalize a large portion of the auto industry. Ford had most of their jobs already overseas, while GM and Chrysler had most of their plants here in the US. In fact, Chrysler pulled out of China years ago. GM and Chrysler were hit the hardest.

I thought Joe was a Software Engineer?? No computer programmer (none that I know and i know several, including myself) have ever referred to our education as "Engineering School". An "independent engineer"?? Does he mean "independent" or "freelance developer"? I've never heard "independent engineer" used in the software development and design field.

So, you're telling me a woman in her 80's was eating Cat Food and healthy? And, another knock on Capitalism, yet you started a business venture known as "Embedded Art"?

Reading through the rest of his Manifesto he bashes both big business and government, which, when teamed together to achieve financial and political gain is known as "Facisim", but he doesn't seem to know this. Also, he praises Marxism with his last quote, but Marxism is all big government and no business. If he is bashing both, why would he end with praising one (Marxism) and dissing the other (Capitalism)? Also, why did he only bash Bush more than once, and not Obama once (if he hates government)?

When you do a search for his company website, all you get is where the home page was located. Why is it there are no address listings, or site listings (on other sites), contract info, press releases by his business .. nothing on the Web? You can usually find at least a press release, some info on another site about the company and/or client's they're contracted with? You'd think there would be something for a business that was around for 20 years.

The registration for his domain checks out under his name, but anyone can put any name as the "Admin" or "Tech" contact. There is no check for that .. anyone who has registered domains knows you can put anything.

So, in an effort to answer some questions and get more of a grip on what occurred in this situation, i'm only left with more questions .. and that's never a good thing. I'm not saying it didn't happen, as it seemingly did and Joe was upset with the IRS for years, but the damage to the building is the most glaring thing in how a small plane can blow out all four sides of a very wide building (or at least 3).

Also, you'd think more than one person would have seen it hit the building, yet the Austin News crew said they could only find one after it happened.

Go figure, we may never know the whole story.

Oh, and it's been reported that he placed the Manifesto on his website (business site of all things) within hours before flying into the IRS. The FBI has stated (according to the one news source) that the FBI stated the Manifesto changed 27 times. How would they know this if it was only placed on the site within "hours" of committing the act? Did he change it 27 times within hours? And if so, was the FBI monitoring his business website, yet there was nothing on that site to indicate he was going to do something like this beforehand? In other words, why monitor his business site every day when that pretty much stays the same. How would the FBI know he was going to post it on that site to witness it changed 27 times?

Maybe the FBI source isn't credible then. Things that make you go "Hmmmm ..".
