Tales of my Chinese Easter part Deux

So, in the last blog, I mentioned going to pay my respects to my friend's ancestor. This time it was not at a cemetary. Tales of my Chinese Easter

So yesterday, my Easter celebration was done in tradition Chinese fashion, and definitely not celebrating the death and ressurection of Christ.

A farmer's market I iz a goin'!

So taking a small walk thru town, in a flea-market-esque area, where people pretty much sell their wares. Clothes, jewellery, crap, animals, veggies, oh, and medicine... kinda.

Herbalism is big here, and since I've grown up with it, wasn't too different for me to see that all sorts of fungi, herbs, and such were on display.

Answers, updates, and small corrections...

For those wondering about internet here, I'm using a friend's connection, since I'm staying at their place, instead of a hotel... cheaper that way.

In regards to bats, I was reminded that it is the cool season, so the bats aren't as active... so no worries, but they're not coming out till its warmer.
